We are excited to announce the Spring 2022 SFBW Photo Contest. This will be a two-category Boundary Waters photo contest: Fish/Hunt & Landscape. Listed below, you will find the official rules and conditions. We look forward to seeing your submissions!
Contest Catagories
Fish/Hunt: This category can be any photography from your BWCA fishing/hunting trips. Grip and grins will be accepted, but we are looking for creativity here! Think along the lines of action shots, high-quality fish close-ups, cooking your harvest, sunrise shots on the grouse trail, etc.
Landscape: This category can include any photography of a BWCA landscape including sunrises, sunsets, wildlife lake views, tent views, overlooks, flowers, canoeing shots with a focus on BWCA lakes or rivers, and any other landscape photography you may have.
Contest Rules
Timeline: The contest will run from April 21th – May 19th
How To Enter: Submit your photos along with a caption to [email protected], hashtag your Instagram post with #SportsmenBWCAPhotoContest, tag us in your photo with a caption about the contest, or direct message us your photo through Facebook or Instagram.
Please try to send us your photos in the highest quality possible as a .jpg file (email submissions are preferred in order to preserve quality). Unlimited entries allowed, BWCA photos only.
Judging Criteria: Winners will be selected by the Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters team based on originality, creativity, and composition.
Winner Selection & Prizes: At the end of the competition, 1 final winner in each category will be selected by the SFBW team. The Winner in each category will receive a Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters logo merch package.
All photos will be retained by Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters for promotional use such as; emails, social media, promotional ads, website, and all other digital usages.
